Small groups of Catholic military personnel gather regularly to read Scriptures, pray, view DVDs and discuss faith questions such as “Can a Catholic have a personal relationship with Jesus?” and “How do Catholics read the Bible?” Other topics include the role of the saints in Catholic belief and discerning right from wrong.
Groups are composed of one to two leaders and six to eight other participants. Groups are led by trained leaders, follow a clear structure and are guided and supplemented by resources provided by the Office of Evangelization of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.

Although supported by chaplains, groups are led by group members and driven by the questions of the leaders and participants. CSC groups are all about asking honest questions in a welcoming environment in order to arrive at answers, together.
