What is the Military Chaplaincy all about?
With a special 'vocation within a vocation', Catholic military chaplains are priests who administer the sacraments and attend to the other spiritual needs of military personnel and their families. There are currently approximately 300 chaplains serving about 1.4 million Catholics serving in the United States military throughout the world (and who make up the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA).
