  • Vatican Launches iPhone & Facebook apps

On May 24th the Pontifical Council for Social Communications  launched a new Vatican web site, www.pope2you.net.  This site has new media applications on iPhone and Facebook to help Catholics, particularly younger generations, to utilize new technologies to promote dialogue, respect and friendship. This year's World Communication Day is dedicated to "New Technologies, New Relationships: Promoting a Culture of Respect, Dialogue and Friendship"
  • WYD '08 Memorial Day Prayers

Prior to World Youth Day 2008, Military Pilgrims gathered at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra to pray for those who gave their lives and those who currently serve.  This prayer service, held in July, brought Military members of eight different countries together for prayer, cultural exchange, and fellowship.  Click the following link for more photos, Australian War Memorial Pictures.
  • Co-Sponsored Seminarians and Priests

In the Spring 2009 edition of "Salute Magazine" the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA proudly presents our co-sponsored Seminarians and Priests.  Read their biographies and learn how they are responding to and discerning God's call.  The link may be found in the discerning your vocation section of the CSC web site.
  • Take an Online Course in Evangelization

The Paulist Evangelization Training Institute has three online courses beginning in the middle of June.  Each week a new presentation is posted and may be viewed at your convenience.  There are discussion boards to interact with the participants and the presenter.  Learn more and find out what it take to register.
  • CSC Leaders "Train Your Replacement"

Trained CSC leaders at Aviano AB, Italy and Camp Lemonier, near the Horn of Africa are training their replacement!  The CSC online training manual and video provide all of the resources you need to encourage and train others to serve as a peer leader in Catholics Seeking Christ.  A movenment grows when good news is shared.  Train your replacement and invite others in the military to join your SQ group.  Find additional resources in the CSC Group on MyCatholicVoice.com.
